Abstract
Human Instruments has its roots in experimental music and interaction. The company creates beautifully made, professional, accessible music technologies to level the playing field of music performance for disabled musicians. This article focuses on the need for growth and change in this field, as well as the history, present and future of the organisation.

Résumé
Human Instruments trouve ses racines dans la musique expérimentale et l’interaction. On y crée des technologies musicales professionnelles accessibles de très belle facture afin d’offrir aux musicien·ne·s handicapé·e·s des conditions de jeu équitables. Cet article se concentre sur le besoin de développement et de transformation dans ce domaine, sur l’histoire, le présent et l’avenir de l’organisation et sur ses exploits.
