Abstract
Cyberbullying experienced by teachers is increasing as social networks become more popular among students and teachers alike. Teachers’ technological skills with these platforms could be one of the causes of the phenomenon. This study assesses the cyberstalking of teachers based on their social network skills and gender. The results place the prevalence of the phenomenon at 12.7%. The study reveals that female teachers are more likely to experience cyberstalking than male teachers and that developing certain technological skills would contribute to the safe use of social networks, thus reducing the risk of being a victim of cyberstalking.
