Résumé
Nous examinons le processus de construction et de maintien d’un leadership partagé dans une équipe sportive. Nous proposons un cadre conceptuel à partir de travaux sur le partage des rôles liés au leadership sportif, les relations interpersonnelles dans le sport et le changement. Nos résultats, basés sur l’analyse qualitative de données secondaires sur l’équipe de France de handball pendant le mandat de Claude Onesta, contribuent aux littératures sur le leadership sportif et le leadership partagé en décrivant un processus de changement favorisé (ou freiné) par les relations interpersonnelles entre le leader formel et des leaders informels.

Abstract
This article is about the process of building and maintaining shared leadership in a sports team. It presents a conceptual framework based on research about the sharing of leadership roles in sports teams, the interpersonal relationships in sports, and the changing process. Based on a qualitative analysis of secondary data about the French handball team during Claude Onesta’s tenure, this article contributes to the literature on sports leadership and shared leadership by describing a process of change that is fostered (or hindered) by interpersonal relationships between the formal leader and the informal leaders.

Resumen
Examinamos aquí el proceso de construcción y mantenimiento de un liderazgo compartido en un equipo deportivo. Proponemos un marco conceptual basado en trabajos sobre el reparto de roles relacionados con el liderazgo deportivo, las relaciones interpersonales en el ámbito del deporte y el cambio. Nuestros resultados, basados en el análisis cualitativo de datos secundarios sobre el equipo de balonmano francés durante el mandato de Claude Onesta, contribuyen a la literatura sobre liderazgo deportivo y liderazgo compartido al describir un proceso de cambio promovido (u obstaculizado) por relaciones interpersonales entre el líder formal y los líderes informales.
