Horizons philosophiques

Journal preceded by Petite revue de philosophie

About

Horizons philosophiques was preceded by the La petite revue de philosophie, which from 1979, distinguished itself within the philosophical milieu of Québec and internationally through its cataloguing by the Philosopher’s Index in the United States and by the Répertoire bibliographique de la philosophie of the Université de Louvain.

The title Horizons philosophiques was chosen to emphasize, on the one hand, the multidisciplinary nature of the journal. Its topics concern not only professional philosophers, but as well, all specialists in social sciences, art, exact sciences, and technology. On the other hand, it aims to show that a philosophical horizon lies at the heart of human issues. The authors come from all French-speaking countries, as well as the United States, England, and Japan.

This journal has stopped publishing since the 2007 volume 12, number 2.
