Summary
Activities undertaken by the Calgary Science Network to promote the public awareness of science over more than a decade are described in an evolutionary paradigm. The Network is a charitable volunteer organization that has an impressive history of accomplishment. The many different projects and programs of the Network are described in an evolutionary framework that has two fundamental generic roots: one in the Science Hotline, the other in the now-defunct National Science and Technology Week. The strong multidisciplinary background of the organization is cited as a key to its success.

Les dix années d'efforts déployés par leRéseau scientifique de Calgary sont pré-sentés selon une vision évolutive. Lesbénévoles de cet organisme sans but lucratifont à leur crédit une suite de réalisationsfort impressionnantes. On trouvera ci-dessous une description de révolution desnombreux projets et programmes duRéseau basée sur ses deux piliersprincipaux, l'un étant la Science au téléphoneet l'autre, activité abandonnée depuis, laSemaine nationale de la science et de L·technologie. On verra que c'est l'importantepluridisciplinarité de ses membres qui est lacause principale de ses succès.
