Note biographique
Pavel Pavlov est artiste. Son travail a été présenté dans le cadre d’expositions personnelles et collectives au Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (2005), à la Galerie Leonard & Bina Ellen (2008), à la Galerie SBC (2009), Optica (2011), Dazibao (2015), La Mirage (2015). Il détient un doctorat interdisciplinaire en arts visuels et en histoire de l’art de l’Université Laval (2014). Sa thèse de doctorat, intitulée Protocoles photographiques, porte sur l’étude des usages conceptuels de la photographie dans les années 1960-70. Depuis l’été 2015, il enseigne à l’École multidisciplinaire de l’image de l’UQO à Gatineau.

Biographical note
Pavel Pavlov is an artist whose work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (2005), Leonard & Bina Ellen Art Gallery (2008), SBC Gallery of Contemporary Art (2009), Optica (2011), Dazibao (2015) and La Mirage (2015). He has an interdisciplinary doctorate in visual arts from Université Laval (2014). His thesis, Protocoles photographiques, examined the conceptual uses of photography in the 1960s and ’70s. In the summer of 2015, he began teaching at the École multidisciplinaire de l’image at UQO, in Gatineau.
