Biographical note
Susan Schuppli is a media artist and cultural theorist who is a Senior Research Fellow in Forensic Architecture at Goldsmiths University of London, where she also received her doctorate. Previously, she participated in the Whitney Independent Study Program and completed her mfa at the University of California San Diego. Her research on the “material as witness” is the subject of a documentary film and book project.

Susan Schuppli pratique les arts médiatiques et est théoricienne de la culture. Elle est agrégée supérieure de recherche dans le cadre du projet de recherche intitulé Forensic Architecture du Centre for Research Architecture de la Goldsmiths University of London, où elle a obtenu son doctorat. Auparavant, elle a participé au programme d’études Whitney Independent Study Program et a terminé sa maîtrise à l’université de Californie à San Diego. Sa recherche sur le « matériel en tant que témoin » fait l’objet de deux projets : un documentaire et un livre.
