Histoire Québec is primarily a popular journal on Québec history but also on various aspects of the built heritage, as well as the archival and ethnological heritage. By publishing these articles, Histoire Québec intends to encourage various historical, genealogical and heritage societies to continue with their research in order to collectively help improve knowledge about Québec history. Histoire Québec is published by Éditions Histoire Québec in partnership with the Fédération des sociétés d’histoire du Québec (FSHQ).
